本協會成立於2001年，為臺灣第一個以推廣粉彩畫為宗旨的民間團體，協會會員展出的粉彩畫都是每個人個性思想的展現，以其獨特的色彩與表現技法創造出不同的風格，畫作可以做到如水彩畫的柔和細膩，也可以有油畫豐富的筆觸層次。
Founded in 2001, the association is Taiwan’s first non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting pastel art. The pastel paintings created by the association's members reflect their individual personalities and thoughts, creating diverse styles through unique colors and presentation techniques. The paintings can achieve the soft delicacy of watercolor as well as the rich, textured brushstrokes of oil painting.
