藝術家就像導演一樣，可藉由畫面與物件之間的營造產生不同的視覺效果。因此，在此次展出的作品中刻意地留下大面積的空白抑或是將兩類差異性的物件並置同一畫面，產生獨特的繪畫語彙，也表達孤寂與共存的無奈之感。
Artists are like directors; they both create different visual effects through the relationship between images and objects. Therefore, the works displayed on this exhibition either deliberately leave large blank spaces, or place two different kinds of objects in the same frame, to create a distinctive painting language, and express a sense of helplessness in both solitude and coexistence.
